Job Description /Key Result areas

  1. Prepare and verify vouchers in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations.
  2. Enter primary data.
  3. Undertake routine accounting work such as balancing of cash books, imp rest, and advance ledgers and
  4. Keep safe custody of records and assets.
  5. Gathering, analyzing and compiling information required on budget monitoring and expenditure control including expenditures on salaries and allowances.
  6. Initial processing of reallocations within the budget.

Job specifications

A candidate must process;

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
  2. And be in possession of Certified Public Accounts (CPA) II or its recognized equivalent qualifications at the minimum;
  3. In addition to the above requirements, an officer must have the following key personal attributes and core competencies:

At least one year and above in the Public Service environment. However, priority will be given to those who interned at the Authority and have proven, commendable and clean track record.
